Classroom Training and Course Material

All classroom training is led by a Pastel qualified lecturer. Pastel training courses are Fasset accredited. All course material is included in the classroom course fee. Learners are required to bring their own consumable items such as a writing pad, pens and calculator to the classroom training.

Payment & Booking

Courses are to be booked one week in advance. The course will only be booked upon receipt of the training application form and payment. Notification of course dates will be given once enough students have registered for a particular training course.

Duration & Time     

Training usually starts at 09H00 and finishes at 16H30. Registration opens at 08H30.

Assessments & Certification

All assessment exams must be booked one week in advance after completing all levels of a certain training course. Assessments are mandatory in order to obtain certification for attending a course. The pass mark for an assessment is 75%. The assessment fee has been included in the classroom training. Students have 6 months in which to write their assessments from the day they attend the training. Penalties will be charged for students who miss the 6 month deadline. No extensions will be granted after missing the penalties deadline. Students would need to re-attend the course.  Students have the option to write their assessment one week after the classroom training. A Pastel certified certificate will be issued 4-6 weeks after successfully passing the exam. Please ensure that your personal details are filled in correctly on your exam papers.
