All assessment exams must be booked one week in advance after completing all levels of a certain training course. Assessments are mandatory in order to obtain certification for attending a course. The pass mark for an assessment is 75%. The assessment fee has been included in the course fee. There are no assessments for the half day courses.

All assessments are written online and can also be written in your own environment provided that you have uninterrupted internet access to write the assessment. You will need to acquire the necessary serial number in order to write the exam, which will be approximately 2-4 hours depending on the exam.

You will receive the results on completion of your assessment. If you fail your first attempt, you have the option to rewrite at a fee. All students only receive 2 chances in which to pass any Pastel assessments after which, they would be required to re-attend the training.
